Electrify 2515: Our initial findings
After receiving feedback from the first ten households and the tradies involved, the pilot team compiled an initial “Lessons Learned” report.

Pilot welcomes apartment dwellers
84-year old retiree Catherine lives with her husband Reg. They are the first apartment owners to take part in the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot and recently had a new induction cooktop installed to replace their gas one. We spoke to Catherine about her motivation to be involved.

Couple electrify old cottage
Tosca and Billy recently bought a new house in Thirroul. They’re eager to upgrade their cottage, so they were chuffed to be selected as one of the first 60 participants in the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot.

Meet the early adopters
Thirroul residents Don and Christina were among the first 10 households to join the Electrify 2515 Community Pilot – a program designed to help homeowners reduce energy use and electricity bills. Having already made significant efforts to upgrade their home’s energy systems, they were excited to take part and received a fully subsidised smart energy device as part of the program.
